Guest Linda S
I'll be home having severe withdrawals! I've been each of the last six years. I'm going to MQX West in October, though! You'll have a blast Penny. I think there may be an older thread under quilt shows that says who's going.
blair8904
Penny, I brought the MQX 2011 thread forward so you could see who is going. A big group will be having dinner together Thursday evening, perhaps you will be free to attend.

LibbyG
Penny, Since you're only going to be there on Wednesday, give us an idea when you'll be free and we can meet in the lounge area where they sell a light lunch. I'll be in the maintenance class with hubby, so before or after will be good for me.

Butterfly
Ribbons are a great idea. I'll pick one up on Wednesday too. I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend Fire and Ice. I am travelling with a friend, actually, she's my most prolific customer. She very much wants to go to the fashion show and so I'm thinking that I should probably make sure I do that with her. I'll let you know by the end of the week. Jess

Primitive1
Since, I haven't been to any of this yet, I am wondering what the dress is for Fire and Ice...is it casual or dressy? Just planning my packing.... Thanks!
Antoinette
Fire and Ice is casual and if it's anything like last year, there is too much going on that any one will notice what you have on as long as you have something on. Personally I think we're a wild bunch when you get that many of us together. Fun but a little rowdy.
gonediving
How about the dress code for MQX? Do most dress casual in jeans? Jeans arm my MO. But I do dress them up with blazers, etc. Is that acceptable?
Quilting Heidi
Most dress very casually with a little nicer for the banquet but not anything extravagant.
Quilting Heidi
Fire and Ice is definitely casual.
Butterfly
I'm all packed up and ready for the drive north. I leave in the morning (Mon). I know I'm going to have a stinkin good time this week at the show. I'll be looking for you all. Have those ribbons on. Jess
