ETownsend Posted August 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 9, 2011 Kay, I didn't use fabric paints on this quilt. I used colored fleece under white muslin and I trapunto the celtic knots, the cable braid and the small circles. It's a whole cloth quilt, so it took awhile to cut away the fleece and batting from beneath the muslin, especially on the border design. I used wash away thread to attach the fleece and batting for trapunto so it all washed away after I completed the quilting. The colored fleece gives the quilt the subtle shading.
