LadyLake
I've been asked by someone on the Forum for Swirling Background ideas. I thought it would be something we all could benefit from, if we all share ideas in the form of a photo or drawing. Any one?
Bonnie H
Joan, what a great thread to start! I wish I had something to share Sheri, thank you for sharing your design. It looks like a lot of fun to stitch out and so pretty!
chrisquilter
This is my personal favorite. It can be done large or very small;)
LadyLake
This was actually used as an overall, but can be done as a background filler as well.

ffq-lar
If you easily stitch loops--ideally one loop this way and the next loop opposite--this is an easy to stitch and space C-curl using the same back-and-forth motion. I do them sharp-pointed and also with a pearl or tear-drop on the end. These are great interspersed with leaves.
