CrazyAboutQuilting
We have just returned from spending a week in Dallas, TX getting a chance to bond with our newest grandchild, James. He was born on March 26th. We had a wonderful time and found it so hard to leave him and his "big" sister Zoe, who is 16 months old. That is one very busy household! My DIL wanted a "puppy theme" for James' quilt, so here's what I made for him. It was such a fun quilt to make! I used two layers of Quilters Dream Wool, SoFine and Bottom Line thread, and I used the Quilters Rule rope ruler in the border. 100_2020.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2004.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2005.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2003.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2006.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2009.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr I had such a fun time quilting the bones and puppy in the plain blocks! I used part of a pantograph and used my laser from the front of my machine and put a copy of each section of the pantograph on my little plexiglass table and it worked just slick. Thanks for looking. Shar Schmutz
Very cute grandson and quilt as well! I use the laser light in the front quite a bit, you really captured the theme on this one. Nice job Gramdma, James looks quite happy on his puppy quilt!

It was fun watching the progress of this quilt as you made it. Such a cutie on the blanket too!! Did Zoe think she needed a new blankie from Nana too?
