I dew quilting
Made a quilt for a soon to be born baby. The mother wanted a Pooh quilt. I told her I couldn't find any Pooh fabric, so she said the father loved soccer. Make something with soccer. No luck. Pressed for time, I tried something different. How about Pooh playing soccer. I found clipart online and had it enlarged. All quilting is freehand using SoFine thread and 2 layers of 80/20 batting. She loved it. Waiting for his arrival so I can make a label. The only thing appliqued on the ball is the blue, the rest is all quilting. Of course I had to quilt his name on it.
JBQuilts
Diane, as usual you have done an excellent job. I admire your work very much. I have a question: about how large/tall/wide are your letters. They always look well balanced to the whole quilt.

I dew quilting
Usually I make the letters 3 to 3 1/2 inches, any smaller they are hard to quilt and seem to get lost. any larger they seem to be over bearing. I have used 4 and 4 1/2 when I have a larger quilt and/or really wide borders.

Cagey
It looks wonderful. The micro stippling really makes Pooh and the soccer ball pop out. I love the feathers and the lettering. Cagey
