TerriVB Posted January 19, 2008 Report Share Posted January 19, 2008 Here is a quilt I just took off the frame that I did for my friend--she is a great piecer and did a great job with the challenging 60degree angles on this thing. It laid nice and flat and she had stay-stitched the edges nice so it was a dream to quilt. Quilter's Dream Wool batting, So Fine in top and Bottom Line in bobbin. Had a few issues with my needle rethreading--but tried a few things that were suggested in another post and today went much better. Did some ribbon grid work in setting diamonds, continuous curves in sashing--and my first attempt at hump and bump feathers in large diamond blocks--went fairly well--still need some PPP--but not bad for first try.
