I was fortunate to be able to quilt Three of these baby Quilts for the same customer. She Used the Pattern Mommy and Me.
She used a white on White Fabric That had a 1" diamond grid printed on it for the Background in the center area as soon as I saw that that 
I wanted to practice some grid work . I just went for it what do you think do you practice on customers quilts?

Hello I am finally done (except binding) and ready to introduce Ellie and Squeak.
It is a pattern from Violet Craft called Elephant Abstractions. I have done a custom 
quilting on it I am called Bohemian quilting.I am not sure what that means but that is what I am calling it. I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it. I have included a front back and before image. Thanks for looking.

Cagey I am sure modern quilters love that elephant in those colors
I had to look past that and put my scrappy twist on it.
I love mixing different color prints together that people say don't go together and make something beautiful. 
I have made an orange one for myself I shrunk it down in size to be able to display it where I want. He is on my long arm right now 
He is bright and beautiful. I will post him soon.

Your quilt is making the rounds. My ex-sister-in-law is my friend on FB. She just shared the picture with me!! You are famous!!!

I even went to find the pattern, but too much on my plate right now to make it.  Would love to hang this in my family room.

There are several long armers in our guild so I do not blow my horn there. That being said my best advertising was doing charity quilts for the guild I always add a business card to the quilt when they are returned to the charity group, their is usually 10-14 quilters at their sew days and quilters talk. also the care group shows all the care quilts at our monthly meetings. they always mention who quilted it, this is free advertising for use donating our time. I have had several requests doing this. Hope some of this helps ...word of mouth is my best advertising.

Oh my stars, i knew this would be even more stunning after you quilted it.  Love what you did -- the tusks are perfect, the diamonds down the trunk, the swirls in the background, and the beautiful variations of quilting to accent the patchwork effect.  Beautiful!
