Stagecl
In this part of Virginia, we don't get a lot of snow. But we did get 10 inches where I am, which is half way between Charlottesville and Richmond. The night picture is taken looking out my side yard and the day one is looking out my front door. I live in a wooded subdivision on an acreage (4.6 to be exact). Anyway for those tired of seeing snow I apologize for the pictures:P:P, but it sure was pretty:D:D that night and the next day.
appr216
WOW Very pretty. I live in south Texas and it was 80+degrees yesterday. Same for today!! Too hot too soon.
Sheri Butler
Cheryl, that is Beautiful! I'm in Nebraska, where the climate changes every 5 minutes all year long, but I LOVE a beautiful snow pic!!
Quilting Heidi
Cheryl, It does look pretty but since I've seen my fair share this season it looks better in your neighborhood than mine! LOL we only got 3-4" out of that storm and I was a very happy camper about that! I'm ready for spring!
Bonnie
Cheryl, that top one looks like it could be the front of a Christmas card....very nice.
Stagecl
Judi, We are suppose to be 80 degrees tomorrow...soggy, soggy, soggy...everything will be mushy. Heidi, I glad it snowed here instead of where you are...I do miss the snow... Sheri, I know where you are coming from when you say the weather changes all the time...I lived in Des Moines, IA and Papillion, NE many years ago. Bonnie, That is my favorite too. I was kind of thinking the same thing you were. I wonder if there is a place to submit photos for cards? I probably just need to do some research:)
Gator
Cheryl, Beautiful!!! We got a dusting here at Va Beach and they closed everything down as usual. I hope to be on my motorcycle this weekend. The weather has been weirder then usual this season.
yogiquilter
Pretty! I'm one of those crazy people who loves snow. I convinced my hubby to move from Ft. Lauderdale to Tennessee. However, it can go from 40 to 70 in the same day, and it seems whenever it's cold enough to snow we get nothing. Then when it's JUST warm enough not to, we get freezing cold rain! I'd rather have the snow!
meg_marsh
Just love your first picture - coloring is perfect!!! But, I only like to look at snow pictures - have had my fill over the years...LOL
GramieSnooks
Wow is right!!! How beautiful. Just so I don't have to live in it. I'm originally from western NY, just outside of Buffalo. Here in Portland we don't get much, except for this year. When I see pictures of deep snow, I know why we live here in God's country.
quiltmonkey
Ya know, girls, I am just about ready to get this @#$%&^ snow gone. We got totally dumped on yesterday ... about 6-8 inches!
Bonnie
Over the months we didn't get as much as you Shana, but I'm so ready for spring its not even funny...and Gene plans to retire back in Montana someday, not soon...., and thats the land of high winds and deep snow....I think he's nuts, but oh, well, I guess I will follow him. Primitive1
Cheryl, Very pretty, looks just like my backyard this week in Fredericksburg, although most has melted today....but I do hear the robins singing so I think spring is on the way! anita
That is a beautiful night picture...just beautiful. I could see that enlarged and framed. The light from the flash is so interesting. Down in Raleigh, NC we were in the teens at night early this week, 2 pitiful inches of snow on Tuesday, highs in low thirties Tues and slightly higher on Wed... Tomorrow and Sunday???? 82 degrees are predicted! Unbelievable...unless you've been in this area for very long. These swings aren't that unusual...but a real pain to dress for none the less. The spring peeps (frogs) are singing away tonight...as sure a sign of spring as the robins at the feeder. Bring it on! Anita
Boni
I never get tired of looking at pictures of snow. It's dumping on Mt Hood this weekend---means a longer ski season. yahhhhh:D

Stagecl
I do have to mention that we are now 78 degrees and not a drop of snow insight. It sure is a change in weather from 6 days ago! I have the heat turned off and the windows open! My daughter and I went for a walk this afternoon and even broke a sweat because the sun was so warm. I am needing to get out the sunscreen already:cool:
kennan100
Hi Judi, have you had Bluebonnets yet? They showed up here last week. I hope we get some rain so they'll last a little longer this year.
CWBowser
The top picture is beautiful. But I agree with Shana, Heidi and Bonnie it is time for it to go away. We had 50 degrees today so most of the snow is gone. I have the added fun of watching my cellar for flooding. So if the snow melts slowly I will be okay. When it goes fast or rains and wipes it out I usually have to pump out my cellar. So far this year I have been lucky. Charlotte
Sandra Darlington
Your snow pictures are beautiful. We got about 8-10 inches of snow last Monday in Philadephia, at least at the NW edge of Philly. My boss called me around 7:00 am and said not to come in because the roads are very bad. So,.....I grabbed my old back country skiis and went out for several hours to play in the snow. I was able to ski right from my front door to the park, with only removing them to cross one street which had already been plowed. By afternoon, most streets were plowed and salted. Unlike the majority here, I love to play in the snow.
Stagecl
Sandra, I have never gone cross country skiing but I sure would love to give it a try....LOL...but not today at 80 and no snow:cool::cool::cool:
Sandra Darlington
Last Monday was the first time in several years I went out on the skiis. My back muscles are still reminding me of the experience. It is good cardio exercize and just nice to be outside playing. I was all by myself in the park (I stayed on the street edge, just in case of a problem as my cell phone doesn't work there-it's down in a valley). I felt like going on 6, instead of going on 60. lindasewsit
Sandra, I'm with you!!! I LOVE to play in the snow!! I also have cross country skis..... haven't used them in awhile though! The snow we had this year came complete with -15, -20 degree temps.....too cold for me to go out, even if you do work up a sweat! linda
