sewcrazy4quilting
My new little one arrived today. She is my "Merry Christmas to me from me". Isn't she adorable? I call her Abbey since she was born in the UK. She runs like a top and we are going to have many quilty adventures together!

Pennyquilts
Kim, she will be a work horse for you. I have a FW also and love, love love the little thing, It's all I sew on. Have fun and we want to see that first quilt you make you using her. Have a Merry Christmas, and remember to let her rest from time to time. Gator
I'm getting the fever!!!! Nice present. I've been looking at them also. I have sooooo many machines, I don't know why I've not gotten a featherweight to top off my list. One of our LQS sells and maintains them.
KDquilter
You will NEVER regret purchasing her!!! I love sewing with mine and they are small enough to take with you to quilt class/retreats. She will run like a charm forever (there's something to be said for mechanical vs electronic!!!) just remember to oil/grease her from time to time instructions for that are in your manual. If you don't have one I have a copy I could mail to you.
sewcrazy4quilting
Thanks for the offer on the manual Karie! She came with a manual and the seller threw in a couple more books too. One of them is: Featherweight 221 The Perfect Portable, and the other is a vintage Singer Sewing Skills reference book. Both very cool. The Sewing Skills book has lessons in it for each attachment. Reminded me of my home economics classes back in the day lol. I am making 1940 style aprons for all of the girls in the family this year so I am putting her to good use already.
