Neher-in-law5
This is the wedding quilt I made for my niece and husband. She gave us her wedding date of March 12 on January 12! I got it selected, made, quilted and delivered in just over 2 months. The pattern is Interwoven Puzzle from Quilter's Cache. The original pattern makes a 12 inch block. I made them 24 inches. I used the 4 colors to represent the 4 kids that are now step siblings, and the backgrounds for the parents. The label tells the story of why I choose what I did. They really enjoyed receiving it. Neher-in-law5
I did cc in all the squares and triangles, and feathers on the green X shapes. The triangles in the borders have 5 loops from the center of the base. This is quilted with George, thinsulate batting.

Neher-in-law5
Okay, Linda. Here is the first picture again. I changed it because I never asked if the kids could be shown in public forums, so I won't tell you where they are!

yankiequilter
Pretty, and so neat to have the quilt tell a story of the recipients!
JudyLynn
That is a neat quilt, I love your story about it. Isn't it neat when we, as the piecers, can put the personality of the receiptant in fiber and have it come out far better than we could ever have imagined? I really like the pattern also.
