Dave-Jane
We are out in the "boonies" and have had dial up service for so long. We were just able to DSL and now we do not have to wait 5 minutes to see all the lovely pictures on the forum!!!!! Yeah!!!! Little things make me happy!!!!!! Quilting Grammy
I know the feeling the only reason that I was able to get DSL was that we live in between the service juction and a federal park that HAD to have it. Lucky me alot of people here still have dial up. Know if I could justge cell service.

GrandmaLKB
Know how you feel.............we are in the country and no high speed internet available through the phone company. Finally, we got satellite internet and it is wonderful. That dial up was painfully slow and I couldn't open pictures of my grandkids or anything! Now I can watch videos ! calicokat
Way to go! I love my work computer because it is fast, but at home we are still on dial up too! Living out in the boonies has advantages, but great internet service isn't one of them.
Gator
Yeaaaaaa!!! BTW I saw something on the Nolting website that is really nice. I think you could make it. It's a small container that you can tie-wrap to your handles to put scissors, marking pen, tweezers (if it had a foam wrap you could also stick needles for burying threads on it) in. It kind of looks like a toliet roll tube with a bottom. My IQ teacher has one on her Nolting machines and I love, love it (great for computer stylus). I was thinking about buying a couple or more (gifts) from them but then I thought about you! I can't insert a pic because I'm at work but you can see it on the Nolting site, under accessories, nipper nest. Nolting's is made of hard plastic. Just a thought.
