I wrote a paragraph and sent a photo of your Cactus Rose to all the Arizona Longarm Quilters Yahoo Group and promoted your teaching experience coming up in September here in Arizona. There was a large contingent of Arizonans at the show. I loved all the detail you put into the half circles in the light area, the beads on all the mountain tops in the green and orange band, and the Razzle Dazzle thread you couched outlining the triangles in the detailed border. So many borders are fairly plain, so this was a nice unexpected surprise. The quilt looks great from a distance too. Congratulations to Debbi Teusch for her 3rd Place Ribbon for the whole cloth quilt, her first from taking Karen McTavish's 2006 class. Wow!
