chickenscratch
I haven't posted for a while, so here is one I finished the other day. I just put a leafy meander all over it. She only wanted to pay .01 per sq. inch. The top thread is ivory colored SoFine. The bottom is prewound ivory color. Needle is a Singer MR 4.0. Batting is high loft poly that customer provided. witha'K'quilting
Nice leafy meander quilting. She got alot for .01. Very pretty quilt. It looks like it has lots of definition with that batting.
quiltmonkey
Hi Teresa! I've missed you. I am glad you are back here sharing your quilts. Hopefully after school lets out for the summer there will be more time for YOU to focus on YOU and do some more quilting!
Mrs.A
Love your meander...sort of half leaf, half feather. Your customer drives a hard bargain...she doesn't deserve you. Nancy in Tucson

Boni
How do you do what you do? Do you mark the path, or just eyeball where you are going next? I'm curious 'cause I'm a freehand wanna-be.

chickenscratch
Bonnie, I just started in one corner and started filling the space. Some of them go in a more up and down direction and some go more side to side. I was just trying to keep them about the same size and fill the quilt quickly. For me it's easier to do freehand than to try to do a pantograph, because of the lack of a stitch regulator. WHen I do a pantograph I really speed up and make REALLY long stitches whenever there is a straight or mostly straight spot.
Cheryll
Teresa, I love your even balanced meander on this quilt. She got more than he paid for but I bet you had fun doing it.
sewlinzi
Jolly good value for a penny an inch!
kimmiequilts
Terrific quilting and at a bargain price! I agree with you I can do a freehand all over much faster and better than a panto, guess I just like to see what the thread is doing while I'm quilitng! RitaR
Teresa that or those patterns you stitched are perfect for that quilt. Top o' quilting to you! RitaR
bobbi
T - really nice quilting! I'm so glad to see you back and in the "groove"! I agree with you about the SR... I don't have one either, and it's a pain when you want to do small work....
