JoAnnHoffman
At the last MQS Show Audacious Auction I donated my angel quilt. When you place a baby in the center of the quilt it appears to have angel wings and a halo. It makes a great backdrop for the perfect baby picture. I had many people ask me for a paper pattern to trace. Well I finally got it done. I hope to have a preprinted wholecloth in the future too. This is not in digital format for computer machines. You get the full pattern measuring 55 x55 inches. Here's the link for the pattern. The quilt in the picture was made with raw silk. It's so soft. It feels and looks like a marshmallow. I bought the silk from Dharma Trading Co. It was also featured on Fons and Porter show by Marilyn Badger. http://compuquilterdesigns.danemcoweb.com/shop/

sewlinzi
It is absolutely gorgeous! Of course, if I was being cheeky, I could also suggest putting a biker chick in the space instead of a baby!

Dar
JoAnn, That is a beautiful quilt. I will never have any grand babies, but I want to make one to have as a gift for a very good friend. What a wonderful idea. I love butterflies and hummingbirds, so may have to make one of all of your upcoming patterns. Thanks so much for sharing and for the recap of the auction.
