Butterfly
I decided to go with the straight lines. I also put curls in the black corner squares. Thank you for your quick responses and help. I like how it turned out. Jessica

Quilting Heidi
I would continue with what you have done Jessica. Wavy lines in the white though and curls in the dark. I also liked what Shannon suggested.
LinneaMarie
I want one of those tablets I can draw on, cause I'm not going to try Paint again!!! In the black part you could just follow the design. And maybe some more of those wavy lines in the white??
Myrna Ficken
Follow the angled lines Perfect , simple and continous

Sheri Butler
OMG, I'm starting to think like MYRNA! Straight Angled Lines!!!!!!!! And,, you could kinda bead board it too! Just stay angled like the fabric.

Butterfly
You guys are great! Thank you so much for your input. Lots of great ideas for me to think about. Sylvia, I got really good at the curls when I covered a queen sized quilt with them for a customer once. Also, sometimes when I am not doing so well, I put my base expander on. Not sure why that helps. Usually I don't like to have it on when freehanding. Jessica

hollyc
Jessica, would those circles happen to be done by a Harley fence?
Bekah
Jessica you did a great job on this quilt. I really like all your different designs. I would also go with Myrna's idea. I think it would set off the rest of the quilt.
Butterfly
Yep, Holly. I just happened to do those circles on a Hartley fence. Hmm, wonder where I got that. Jessica p.s. I removed the pictures from my webshots because I'm not done with the quilt. I guess that automatically removes them from my post.

ffq-lar
I agree that your choice is perfect--it frames as a border should and doesn't distract the eye from the rest of the lovely quilting. Great job!
