Matt Sparrow
great site! I've been Zentangling for a while. It's great practice to think on your feet and totally reduces hesitation while stitching.

LauraJ
Okay Matt, How are you Zentangling? Did you purchase their kit? The whole concept is cool and it seems like a great way to get the mind reset into quilting ideas too.
Matt Sparrow
Doodling with sharpies in notebooks! Now, I've got a stack of notebooks as high as my knee to take inspiration from. I mostly work from a circle but have recently started tracing the Rhapsody Quilt Templates out of Ricky Tim's book and using them to zentangle in each section. kennan100
Has anyone seen Mandala's? Similar to Zendangle's but all sone into circles. More like creating spaces. Here is a link to the Google search, there are coloring pages you can print out. Think wholecloth............. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4ACAW_enUS355US358&q=mandala
meg
looks like a great tool.....this would help with freemotion, wouldnt it? does anyone have it yet? if i hadnt been so bad at the quilt shop yesterday, i would try it. we drove for over an hour to candor new york to puddy huckle delight - it was worth the drive. what a nice shop. lots of fabric and very nicely organized. nice staff. & they had 20% off EVERYTHING in the whole store - every single thing - even marked down fabrics - but i didnt get any of those. and they had a great selection of batiks - did i mention that i love batiks? did some damage - i was the worst one in my group of 4 quilters. i have no self control - but i dont think im in need of an intervention just yet....ok - i see i'm babbling again. since i was a major economic stimuli for the good folks of candor yesterday, i need to lay low for a while & ZENTANGLES will have to be added to my wish list. i would love for someone who has it to post about the details so i know where to put it on my list.
