Busy Quilting
I posted a partial photo of this quilt in Barb's topic of Dahlia quilt. Now that I have it off the frame I thought I would show you some more pics. the Customer made this using the Marti Michell templates in a class I was teaching. SHe had approached me before class saying she didn't want to do a traditional dahlia quilt. Did we get the formula right! Lyn
Busy Quilting
This is one of those first times that the back of the quilt looks pretty good too. This is of the centre of the dahlia area. I only broke one needle in that very centre! Lyn

Busy Quilting
It is really a Marti Michell Giant Dahlia templates - the pattern comes with them. All rotary cut, Easy to piece. The piecer and I worked out which pieces she would have to cut selectively to make the design stand out. She then put solid squares in the border rather than the pieced ones of Marti's pattern. It is the same pattern as this one of mine. Lyn
