LibbyG
This is going in my favorites, too! Did you freehand the design or does the IQ make this? I can't seem to get big feathers to look nice.

WestieMom
Gorgeous quilt and your quilting makes this sing! I am constantly amazed at all of the talent on this forum! Thanks for sharing.
victoriasews
Libby, No, it isn't IQ. I rarely do feathers with IQ because I like doing them freehand so much and I can make them fit in all kinds of odd shapes. IQ likes more specific spaces. Sandra Darlington
I just love, love, love log cabins, and this is one of the prettiest I've seen. Your quilting is perfectly executed!
dlnewell
On your straight line work, did you travel in the ditch on either side to stitch back and forth across the dark triangle area or start and stop at the end of each line of stitching? victoriasews
I stitched in the ditch.

Farmland Quilter
Any chance you could draw out those feathers? They look really interesting but I could't tell exactly what they looked like from the pic. Or is it a deep dark professional secret like some family recipes? victoriasews
I don't have the time to draw and upload right now, lots of stuff and traveling on my plate but will try to get to it in a few days.
