Hitomi Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 I saw this quilt in a book called Material Obession. I thought it was so cute I wanted to make it. Finished size is 59" x 73" I used all my scrap fabric I had around (didn't buy anything). Finally finished the quilt. It's so girly! LOL! It was fun to make. I didn't turn the applique but machine sewn them with a small blanket stitch. I got tired of fusing the pieces down with wonder under, so after a while, I started just spraying them down with a fabric spray and it held good enough so I could sew them. Much easier and quicker. Don't be a stranger for so long! Going to be in Kauai for a week, Aug. 4-11 and then in Honolulu for 5 days, visiting with our son who lives and works there. No Big Island visit this trip.
