wreckser
I'm considering purchasing the microdrive handles since I've been doing more detailed work and would like a bit more control. Anyone have good/bad experiences? They are a bit expensive so I'd appreciate any advise. Thanks!
Bonnie H
I have a different machine than you (mine is a Nolting), but I recently just sold my Micro Drive Handles as I never used them. My Nolting's handles are adjustable and it may be that helps with my control. Or it could be that I'm just so uncoordinated (the most probable reason!!!) and couldn't get the hang of using the Micro Drive Handles.
juliagraves
I used my micro-drive handles quite a bit, especially before I got Bliss. They give you better control. I would balance my forearms on the top roller and could make minute adjustments. Julia
LynnQuilts
I LOVE my micro-drive handles. They help me immensely to do detail work, and I couldn't be without them.
Tella
I love them too and do use them quite a bit...although I am getting better st the micro stuff using the regular handles...
Ann Wight
As you can see, we are all over the board on this one. I have a set and only used them once, I didn't like them. I have bliss and like to use my regular handles.

RitaR
I also had the micro handles, and just couldn't get anything done better with them, than I could without. I ended up selling them.
Primitive1
I love my micro handles and use them most of the time for custom and ruler work...I feel like I can really get down close to the fabric and with the new interchangeable foot on my millie when I use the open toed foot I can really see what I am doing....I could not quilt without them! wreckser
Thanks for all of the good advice. My dealer found a set that I could borrow to try out. I really think they'll be great. I tried to SID a few blocks and what a difference. Very good control! I think it's the difference between having my hands vertical vs. horizontal. I know it sounds strange, but it really makes a difference to me. Does anyone have a set they don't use and would be willing to sell? Thanks again! michelleyost
I have a set. They are for a Lenni. I am upgrading to a Lucy. I'm asking $150 plus shipping if you are interested.
b.glass
I often wondered about them, but the cost makes me think twice. I can understand being sure about the purchase. It seems to me a micro handle rental service might be the ticket.
shirleyl
They are not something you will use every day, but I do use mine quite often. I love them for doing little detail or or want small movements. I use one handle of the micro drive while doing ruler work sometimes too. After quilting a lot in a day it is nice to put my hand in a different position. I also have quilt path and yes I still yes them. Shirley
tfor1
Hi everyone, i am looking for a set of micro drive handles for a 2003 Millenium. Do you know where i might find a used set? I am in Canada and with the exchange rate being around 20 cents on a dollar I would like to keep the cost down as much as I can so that is why I don't want to buy new if I can help it. Thanks in advance.
