Sheagatzi
Holy moly...can someone please kick the Canadian loonie value back up please? I need some rulers, thread and pantos - but at this rate, a set of 140 dollar sale rulers will cost me 200 PLUS shipping! yikes! Any Canadians (or Americans) have tips or sites on where to purchase for the next while?

Busy Quilting
The Aussie dollar is worse. Whatever the price is in the US double it then add postage to get to Australia.

RunningThreads
Superior Threads is having a sale for their wholesale customers, 25% of til tomorrow. That covers most of the exchange rate. Cansew is a Canadian thread supplier that we used in the beginning with good pricing but not the same quality as Superior. lkl
Westrade Textiles, a Canadian distributor of 110” wide flannel and cotton backing have managed to limit their increase in wholesale prices to 6.5%. Connecting Threads offer periodic 30% off discounts on select Hobbs batting with free shipping on orders over $75. Even with a poor exchange rate it can work out to less than the wholesale price in Canada. I opened a US currency (no fee) bank account when the $ CAN was near par. I use it for the occasional visits to the US when I need $ US cash. Leslie
Gator
If you lived close to Port Huron, MI. I would say "come on over" and we can go shopping.
Cagey
I have no idea where you can find quilting supplies in Canada, though I can recommend http://www.echidnaclub.com.au/shop/ in Australia. With the exchange rate, I have found the store to be rather advantageous with the exchange rate when ordering and downloading BX fonts and electronic books.
