One More for Claudia's Challenge!...

Recommended Posts

Nothing like waiting till the last minute....

Well, I must admit, I love it when I challenge my sister.

She never lets me down.

In an earlier post, I confessed that I do not piece. I can, It's just not very pretty. My sister on the other hand just has a knack for it.

I presented her with Claudia's Fabric and told her about the challenge.

She took the fabric and I haven't been able to see it until tonight.

Here is her interpretation of "ARABESQUE"............

(I don't know how to post more than one pic at a time, so please bear with me!)

It's not quilted yet, but I can't wait to get started on it.

Nani never ceases(sp?) to amaze me.

We are opening a shop in the next few weeks and have been running round the clock to get things taken care of.

Can't believe she found the time to get this done.

I Love my sister. Couldn't think of a better person to be my partner! ( Sorry, Just had to say that!)

Claudia- Nani loved your fabric. We ordered the entire line for the new Shop!! Can't wait till it arrives.

Found Fountain on the map and wonder what is going to be your address since I plan to drive through there in August. Good luck in getting your quilt store up and running. What a job!

Love your sister Nani's "Arabesque". It's a wonderful interpretation of the fabric. The glitter dots on the background fabric - question - did that come from Jo-Ann's? I thought about buying some and wondered if the needle would break if it hit one of those sparkle spots. Let us know how that runs on your machine. I thought that fabric would have to be hand quilted. Good luck.

Hey Vicki-

I added all the shop info to my signature.

Guess I forgot to do that!

Would love to have you stop by if your in the area.

About the Beaded fabric;

I do believe she got it from JoAnns. I too was wondering how I was going to get around all those beads.

I'll figure it out.

When I get to it, I'll post what I came up with.

Thanks for the inquiry. Hope to see you in August!
