ETownsend Posted September 8, 2008 Report Share Posted September 8, 2008 Hi there, I just finished the binding on this flower applique quilt that I have been working on for years!!! (2003). It's 90 x 90. I hand appliqued the flower blocks and the border flowers. I couldn't get a good shot of the feathers that I did inside the flower blocks and the centers of the flying geese. I still do not have the knack of getting good photo shots. Oh well... Evelyn Colonial Heights, VA Close up (over exposed!) So many times when we make a complex quilt, we get lazy by the time we get to the border and just throw something on it. You stuck with this one through the whole process and is is just beautiful! Well, if you ask me, some things are worth the wait; and this is one of those things. It's so beautiful. I have to also add that your border design complements the applique blocks perfectly.
