RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in Millenium old
From the picture it looks like you have an Ultimate 1 and if the motor is original it was made around 1992. If I remember correctly the serial number was stamped in the underside flat area above the hopping foot.
Hope this helps

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your sale will be much easier with pictures, a price, the features, age, and model of the machine, etc..
Best of luck in your sale.

RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in no Power to 2021 Millie
Linda
Follow Barb’s suggestion. Also if your machine was built for Canadian standards you probably have another fuse under the top cover. It used to be the American machines the lights and motor were on the same fuse while the Canadian machines used separate fuses. I don’t know if this is still the case.
Let us know how you make out.

Linda, can you use the flywheel to bring the needle back up? It sounds like your needle may be in backwards and is hanging up on the hook.

RunningThreads got a reaction from DianeR in bobbin thread cutter
Had both either work fine. If you have never had a machine with the electronic locks you won’t miss them. Now if I was buying a new machine and going back into business (I’m not) I would even consider a Lucey with the deluxe table ($2000) and power quilt advance. Same warranty and same quality stitching, you lose the touch display and you can’t have Quilt Glide (again don’t know what I’m missing).
I certainly wouldn’t make it as a salesperson for APQS.

RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in bobbin thread cutter
We had two machines both with bobbin thread cutters and never used them. You have to cut the top thread anyway so why not pull the bobbin thread to the top and cut both at the same time. To my knowledge APQS is the only machine I’ve seen with the bobbin thread cutter.
Just my two cents

RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in About just a longarm table
Most APQS machines have horizontal wheels and most other brands have vertical ones. So it may not be easy.

RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in 2007 Millenium Machine stops and even needle up/down will not work
Next time it stops try rotating the flywheel a bit and see if it starts back up again. I had to replace the motor on our millennium because of symptoms like you describe. Call the factory on Monday and they will help you diagnose your problem.

Check your brushes. Most things you can fix yourself with instructions supplies by APQS. Here is how to check the brushes.

RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in Needle goes up and down continually
Maybe the needle up/down adjustment. Used to be a common issue after a new machine has a few hours on it. Links below first is for machines with LED light and second is for fluorescent light machines.

RunningThreads reacted to Cagey in Anne Bright Designs
Lora,
PayPal will always go with the customer that brings in money for them, thus the seller. Start with them, but do not expect satisfaction from them. If you did not get the two designs you purchased, contact your credit card company and they can recover your funds. You will have to provide the statement from the Anna Bright FaceBook page showing that she "guarantees all her designs". If she is selling the same design under two different names, that would seem somewhat fraudulent.
Here are the two designs in question if I found the correct site (there are a number under Anna Bright http://www.annabrightdesigns.com),
She showed two different designs under Sweet Pinks, which appears to be her Pink Periwinkle b2b, so I can understand your confusion;
https://annebrightdesigns.com/product/2022-april-bronze/ first link showing both designs. You will have to zoom in on them to see.
https://annebrightdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/sweet_pinks_border_set.pdf1_-1.jpg Only shown to show the different flower tips if I found them correctly.
The two designs look different to me if I have the correct site.
The real questions is do you intend to do business with Anna Bright in the future?
If your answer is YES, then you will simply have to suffer under her poor customer service, where she shows one design with two different names.
If your answer is NO, then post your questions and her responses wherever you desire be it FaceBook, Instagram, etc..
Though I would suggest having a rider on your homeowners or rental insurance contract for libel (written) and slander (verbal) before you make the post. It is inexpensive, $2 to $5 per year additional cost. I don't sell insurance, I just buy it.
Unfortunately libel/slander insurance is needed in this day and age, as anyone can file a court case against you for something you wrote or said. Even if you wrote or stated the truth, a company or individual can sue you for the written or spoken comments. The insurance rider will cover you for those types of events. The insurance coverage is probably a good idea for most people that post on forums, use FaceBook, Instagram, or other online posting services. A number of companies have started suing for loss of income for an individual posting a poor rating on a site. Libel/slander insurance would protect your from this type of action.
Attorneys file cases that do not seem to make sense all the time, her is one in the news recently; https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/jeep-owner-sued-michigan-dealer-mechanic-death/
You have to protect yourself. Just like I am sure Anna protects herself if she were to make a libel comment to you in one of her reply emails.
For me, thank you for notifying us of Anna Brights customer service and business practices. I will be sure not purchase anything from her company in the future.
Have a great day, and be safe.

RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in Help needed! Frozen hook assembly!
Try rocking the hook back and forth with the thumb wheel while gently pulling on the thread tails. Once you get the thread out rotate the thumb wheel a couple of turns by hand before you turn the power back on. If by chance the machine won’t power on you have most likely have a blown fuse.
Hope this helps.

RunningThreads got a reaction from SueD in Lenni & 12' Table For Sale $6,000 Excellent Condition
Got a RV? Make a trip out of it. I picked up my 14 foot rails and bars in Kansas and brought them home (1000 miles) inside my fifth wheel camper.
The girl that bought my machine used a horse trailer to pick it up. She is a farmer.

RunningThreads got a reaction from Hali in Tilting the machine
If you raise the back of the table you will be pushing the machine uphill and pulling it downhill. I think you would find it very hard to control the machine. You are told to level the machine when you first set it up so it requires equal effort to move in all four directions.

I think the term you are looking for are C-clips. I bought some from Matt Sparrow about ten years ago, don’t know where you could get them now.

RunningThreads got a reaction from dbams in Ultimate 1 with no trusses!
Something in the back of my mind says not all tables came with the truss. I think the 12 foot tables were ok without but the 14 foot one would sag in the middle. In the following video I don’t see a truss at the 2:12 mark. The video also shows the cam adjustment for the wheels. Four wheels adjust and four are fixed. https://www.apqs.com/table-adjustments-video/ Hope this helps.
