chickenscratch
This is my GD Nevaeh. She is 3 1/2 years old. She wanted to make her mommy something for Christmas. She picked out her fabrics, helped me iron and square them (she held them after I fixed them up), then she sewed them together using my machine. At first I did the foot pedal for her, but then she figured out how to do it herself. IT looks like she's going to be a quilter.

chickenscratch
Rita The flower on my machine is a sticker that little stink pot stuck on there. I left it there, thought it was kind of cute. She is definitely a character. She has the best personality of any kid I've ever met, adn I'm not just saying that because I'm her grandma. dancingstitcher
I want one of those....not the finger holder...the little granddaughter. It's great how patient quilters are to take the time to share the love of fabrics and quilting. You'll treasure these photos and the experience long after she is grown up Teresa. Merry Christmas to all the little blooming quilters. Vicki

Mirabelle
What a cutie. My DD was 8 when she started patchworking and always wanted to use my sewing machine so for her 9th birthday we bought her a sewing machine. This will be a bond that you and you GD will treasure, and there can never be too many quilters in the world
