anniemueller
Just pulled this off Millie. It's a customer quilt, a high school graduation gift for her daughter. I used CL Gingko and Mini Gingko templates in the white spaces, CCs in the pieced stars, and wavy lines in the busy outer borders.

anniemueller
Had an odd white space where the label is (label covers a goof, isn't that usually the way?), so I personalized it.

anniemueller
Originally posted by sandradarlington I love your use of the CL Ginko. How did you get them lined up so perfectly? Thanks. I drew lines across the white squares on point to find the centers. I'd made a practice piece first on scrap fabric, that let me figure out where to place them. Oh, and then I had to fiddle with the CL positioning a little each time to make sure the motif was aligned right, on point or square. By the way, this was the first time I've had any trouble removing the Blue ink pen marks. The fabric is a stiff white on white print. I usually spritz with water and when it dries the blue is gone. Not this time. I was glad I picked up a cleaning product from Pam Clarke at HMQS last week. That did the trick.
