Primitive1
Thanks everyone - after working on it for a week it is so nice to show it off to someone else other than the customer...however, she said that she is going to bind it and it will be hanging in the LQS as an example of the embroidery that their Bernina 830's can do...so good advertising for me! Love the corners with the CH; how did you plan that out? Your feathers are perfect, too.

Primitive1
Vickie, I did the old adding machine tape the length of each side and folded it in half several times until I ended up with a space about 8" and then I drew chalk marks for each space and marked the middle of each space and then used Deloa's rulers and just layed them down and chalked the curve from each center to each 8" mark. I then used the same ruler to do the crosshatching and just filled the centers with those feathers...went pretty quickly...it was all of the outlining of the applique and pebbling and crosshatching and tieing off threads that took so long....
