Susan Grady
I'm a newbie and love this idea. I'm in! Also, would appreciate seeing some examples of the fabric. Thank you, Shannon for leading the way.
GrandmaLKB
No to signing the front of the blocks. Yes to a picture of suggested fabric colors. End of August should work. It's a simple block to make so will go fast with using all the same colors.
kathyd
I'm a newbie and would like to join in the fun. I say no to signing the blocks as well. If people really want to know where the blocks came from I guess we could put our name on each of the 20 blocks with a piece of paper and a pin. This way nobody has to worry about keeping lists and we know who helped make out quilt!! Looking forward to more information. Thanx! Susan Grady
In the past have you pre washed the fabric for swaps? This is going to be such fun!
JustSewSimple
Now, I do want to know who made the blocks and where they live! I didn't get that with my stars quilt and I don't know who I shared with. I love that quilt - did I say that already?

JustSewSimple
I think these are called jewel tones, right?
doodlebug
i consider the bright colors more jewel tones (lime green/turq/magenta/colors that would glow under a black light ).... i call these colors traditional/country/folky/etc
Oma
Well duh, when I first looked at the pattern I had this idea and color scheme in my head and I was thinking I didn't like red and blue because it would be too "patriotic" looking and I didn't like red and green because it would be too "Christimas" looking and then today I peeked at the pattern again and lo and behold had a whole different color scheme come to mind. Still using the cream, cheddar, navy blue, hunter green and/or barn red. Funny how that happens.

I can do it I can do it I can do it... Thanks Shannon! No signing blocks, no prewashing Do you mind if I put a little signature on a seam allowance on the back? Not showing through...??
