Anne from Guam
That must have been fun to work on with all of those different types of blocks. Very pretty. I haven't seen that fabric you used on the bunny, is that a batik?

LadyLake
Wow, is that gorgeous! You've been a busy girl! Tell us more about the quilt -- who designed it, picked fabrics, pieced it (we know who the fantastic LA quilter was)! I love the unusual combination of colors and fabrics. Primitive1
Thanks everyone, this was a collaborative (?) effort by some of the ladies in my guild, we were each given enough of the flowered and solid green batik to make a 9 or 8" block and then one of the ladies did the marinier's compass's for the center and the four corners and then put all of the donated blocks together and you know who quilted it. I did make one block with the bird, the bunny was made from the flowered batik and we could add an accent fabric if we wanted to. It has already been picked up for a binding to be put on and then will be on display with raffle tickets at our Local quilt show in October. I'd love to take the credit for making it but I only made one block and then just quilted the whole thing....but thanks anyway!!! (Wish I had time to make one for myself!)
