Kimmarg
Hope im doing this right lol. (first time on site;) I am just on the verge of ordering the Millennium with Bliss etc, but I cant decide whether the fabric advance is worth it. Im in Australia and most of my research on machines etc have been online. After what seems forever I have decided to go with the Millenium, with most of the bells and whistles lol, is the fabric advance worth the extra dollars. Would love some advice. Its been great browsing round the site, lots of very helpfull info for a newbie like me ) Hope someone can help. thanks guys
jmcclannan
Welcome to the forum. You are going to love your Millennium with the Bliss. I would go ahead and order it with the fabric advance. It is definitely worth the extra money. I'm sure others will chime in and agree.
yankiequilter
Welcome! You will love your new Millie and Bliss. The fabric advance is well worth the cost. Here's a previous discussion about it: http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=28698&page=1#pid365594
Quilting Heidi
Milli with Bliss can't go wrong and I don't think you can go wrong with Fabric advance either! I wouldn't be without my fabric advance.
Beachside Quilter
Welcome! The fabric advance was the main selling feature for me on my Millennium. It is a must for custom work as it makes it so easy to roll the quilt back and forth with ease!
Hitomi
I had a manual fabric advance on my mid-arm, then got the Millennium with Bliss with fabric advance and it just doesn't compare! It makes it so much easier. Don't know how I got by without it. You should get it. You'll be happy you did. I think it's better to get everything first. If you decide later, you'll end up paying for shipping all over again
Stagecl
If you can afford it go with add a fabric advance. I love mine.
meg
imho - it's worth every penny.
AHuffman
Yep, I agree, the fabric advance is a "must have". The hydraulic lift is a luxury item but the motorized fabric advance is a "gotta have it" item. Have you decided what size table you want?
Primitive1
Yep, go with it!
lisae
Definitely love the fabric advance! My first longarm (non APQS) did not have one. I have friends that have machines without it and they are very envious! Great time and back saver.

Conny
Yes, Yes, Yes! I have only had my Freedom for about a month, and I absolutely love the fabric advance. It is a huge time saver.
JustSewSimple
I traded a Pearl of a Lenni for a Freedom just so I could get automatic advance. Now, I am so glad I did. I went today and got a shot in the joint of my left arm/shoulder. I am still on pain meds and a heating pad but it is better than it has been. I'd do it if I were you. newmillie2010
I firmly believe that the fabric advance should be considered "standard equipment" on the Millennium. It's a no-brainer ... get the fabric advance. Sometimes at the big shows you can sometimes get the fabric advance thrown in as a 'freebie' (if you believe that there is a free lunch!). Anyway, you'll never ever regret getting it.
ecmoore
Check out the road shows, if they do any in Australia - the Fabric Advance was one of the two "freebies" with the millenium (the other was the quilt glide). It's especially useful for me in my tiny apartment, because that end can go against the wall and I just have to use the pedal.
dmilner
My Liberty came with the auto fabric advance and I love it. After manually manipulating my midarm system this is so much easier. (I don't feel like I have been in a wrestling match any more.) I don't have the hydraulic lift, that's next on my list....but auto fabric advance was a must have for me. Quilting Grammy
YES YES YES get the advance. I love it, if I could add anything else to mine it would be the Hydaulic lift. I have a Freedom.
Kimmarg
well thank you all ladies, you have convinced me to get the fabric advance.
