The quilt pattern is Jinny Beyer September Sun and I love what you chose to quilt, I like the hearts in your feather designs and border. I don't yet have a longarm, but would love to know, is this free hand, or is some done with templates? And what thread did you use in the white areas? Della Posted February 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 14, 2012 It is all freehand. I used black Omni thread top and bottom. At first I thought I should change thread colors for different areas and then decided black would work the best. I only wish that I could make the feathers without the huge thread build up.
