The Beading behaved well as did the fabric. Now to figure out how to finish this off,...... What Unique things have you Quilted?

Merryjo2003
Custom English saddle pad....weird. Don't know where the pic went. It was special order from a company that makes them. I quilted the parts, they sewed them together to make the pad. Boy ya get some strange requests.

DawnCavanaugh
Laura, What fabulous "play time" results! The two oddest things I have quilted would have to be a WW II German parachute a guy brought back from the war, and two quilts with ostrich feathers for the batting. A little sad story...a local guy's wife needed care in an alzheimer's unit in a local nursing home. To pay for it, the guy was trying to "invent" something that would help him generate income. He figured if we use goose down, then ostrich feathers should be similar. What a mess that was!

cdilday
Lovely quilting! My husband made a wooden platform that served as steps/supply storage/seating for our spa. I upholstered it with marine vinyl, but felt that the base of the seat needed a little bling, so I quilted the marine vinyl (and batting) with a vining leaf. A little strange to quilt on, but almost anything can benefit from a little quilting!

whitepinesquilter
'The beading behaved well as did the fabric.' Laura, I can't see closely, what type of beading do you have in this? Sounds very interesting, and the feathers are beautiful!
