Merryjo2003
This is the 3rd one of these I've quilted for one of my customers. She hangs this in her dining room because she has the matching dishes and made napkins from the coordinating print. Looks great! The problem is, family comes for dinner and someone decides they have to have this wallhanging and takes it home! Then she buys another panel for me to quilt. I ironed a "Owned by" label on the back of this one so hopefully, she won't give it away!! Enough already! I have this same panel but I'm too sick of it to quilt my own! Sylvia
Hi Merryjo This is a very sweet piece when quilted. Maybe after a break you will feel like doing your own. And....you live in a beautiful little town! We were there at Christmas(passing through) several years ago. Sylvia

Quilting Heidi
Oh but you do such a nice job! LOL I would get tired of it too though if I had to quilt multiples. I think that is the one thing I love about quilting. I get to see/do something different all the time.
JustSewSimple
what is the name of this fabric panel? This would be perfect for my daughter who also has dishes (winter dishes) with the birds. I could do a wall hanging for her. I will save this to favorites. Anyway, the info. on the selvage is: CP1849 wall hanging Bird Sanctuary, Wild Wings, LLC by Rosemary Millette, Springs Creative Product Group, LLC. The coordinate is: CP 2185 packed birds Bird Sanctuary,.......... blah blah blah. We found this at WalMart. If anyone wants one, let me know! I still think WalMart here has it. Heirloom Quilter
Hi! Walmart must have made a fortune on that panel. I have it too! I wondered how to quilt it, now I can just follow your designs. LOL Good job on the quilting. I like it.
Betty
I like it too...especially your quilting job. No wonder all the kids wanted one when they saw it. I am partial to bird quilts. Just feels right at my house.
annaquilts
Your quilting adds so much to this panel. I love all the detail you added. The birds look like they've been thread painted. Very pretty !
Merryjo2003
Debbie, the color of thread on the border was a Superior bottomline because it was a perfect match. All the rest were Fil-tec Glide threads because I love the sheen. Really catches the light and sparkles! I used 8 different colors of thread. I charged a custom rate by the sq. inch even though it's fairly small, and I have a charge for thread changes ($3). I charged for seven, the first color didn't count, so it was $21 just for all the thread changes, then add the quilting and batting charges. CWBowser
The quilting you did is wonderful. I can see why you would get sick of doing those panels over and over again though.
