witha'K'quilting
I made and quilted this quilt for a friend of ours who loves motorcycles. He owns a Harley Davidson hardtail and is working on it to make it road ready. Now he can dream about it too under his new quilt! He lives in Wells Nevada where several earthquakes hit last February. I have wanted to do something for him since that time. I chose Vroom pantograph for the quilting. I felt it needed an allover design. I hope he and his wife love it! It is 80x90. Now to bind it tonight and finish pillows to go with it.

JustSewSimple
My hubby rides a Harley and loves it. I have many of his older t-shirts and am getting ready to make him a Harley quilt. I am LOL because I have some of that same fabric to use! I hope mine turns out as well as yours did!!1:D
victoriasews
Really cute! It's great that one of the motorcycles landed in the plain area so you can really see it.

Merryjo2003
I never owned a motorcycle, but for some reason I'm always drawn to motorcycle quilts, especially when they have flame fabric. Something about the bright colors. I'm sure they'll love the quilt. The quilting is perfect for the quilt and definately adds a design element. Well done! JudyLynn
Kristina, That is just the coolest quilt. My son drives a Harley Dyna street bob, much to his mothers objection!!!!-- he would really like something like that. I'll have to make another quilt for him, oh now to shop for fabric:D
Gator
Great quilt. Is the e2e by computer or is it a pantograph? If it's a panto where did you get it? I do a lot of biker quilts and would love to use the panto.
kimmiequilts
Connie I think it's a panto 'cos I don't have computerized and I've seen it! Oh it's a Dave Hudson design and Bayside Quilting has it on their site!
witha'K'quilting
It is a pantograph called 'Vroom' and it is by Lorien Quilting - Hermione Agee. You can puirchase it at http://www.willowleafstudio.com/index.php?p=catalog&mode=search&search_in=all&search_str=vroom The one by Dave Hudson is different. It is called 'Motorcycle' and is sold at https://www.baysidequilting.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=2916 Hope this helps. I chose Vroom because it was a larger pattern and less complex. I am glad everyone likes the quilt. Thanks for the nice comments.

Suezquilts
Love the quilt and the panto. I ride motor cycle have since 2001, my Dad was dying and I needed to feel alive. I probably put on 3-4000 miles a year and in Wisconsin that is alot considering the lonnnnggg winters. I used to have a picture on my website, but somehow, with the front page design skills (which I don't own) I lost my page. I have so many motorcycle friends that I'm always looking for a new pattern. thanks for sharing this.
