On the pink quilt, I freehanded the center and around the flowers, and the cross-hatching I did with the "stylus and pattern board". That worked o.k. except it was difficult to see where to stop and start around the flowers - which is why I'm anxious to try another using the rulers from Linda R. Thanks again!
