quiltlover03
The Daisies are done, not too bad if you asked me. I just don't know why I fret so much. Unfortunately the Quilt is so very light with no contrast and the work doesn't show up to good, but I did a lot of CC's in this one. Picture 2 shows the Daisy. lindasewsit
OHHHH, Monika!! I LOVE your daisy!! Did you end up making a stencil? Really nice!! linda
quiltlover03
Thank you Ladies, I wanted to use the new rulers I have and do cross hatching across the Quilt, but my Customer had a budget limit, so we settled for CC's. I still have a long way to go to be a CC Queen Linda, but after I finish the double wedding ring, who knows, I might just deserve that title......... quiltlover03
No, I didn't make a stencil. I drew a Daisy on a sheet of Velum and laid it beside the block I wanted to work in and just did it!
lindasewsit
Monika, That is really good!! OH! I wanted to tell you about the rulers I got called Triple Play.... They make the BEST CC without me messing up!! I tried and tried to do them freehand, but just couldn't get them to turn out evenly. Someone on here was talking about them.I had tried my circle templates but they just didn't work for me. I looked them up and bought all three sizes and I have used all of them ALLOT! I love them!! Here is the web site. go to the ruler and template spot. they are called Triple Play. You will love them!! http://www.lovetoquilt.com/ Money well spent! linda
quiltlover03
Thanks Linda, They sure look like a handy tool. However, shipping to me will cost me $20.95 USD, a bit much for 3 rulers, bringing my total to 81.95. Shipping is a killer.
cmoore1223
Monika, That's too bad because the rulers really are great. Is there any way we can get them accross the border for less?
