JustSewSimple
Kristina, I have one I can't give up but....Google "pleater" and see what you get. They were once made to measure pleats in skirts or bed skirts etc.

Busy Quilting
My DH gave me a Simflex expandable gauge for a birthday one year. He had been looking over my shoulder when I was browsing the internet looking for one! I use it often, but I am liking my Full Line Stencils for marking even more. Kueser
Please enlighten me what you are using this for. I have a feeling this may be one of those tricks I've missed.
Quilting Heidi
Cee this is used to divide an area quickly and easily. You just spread the thing to the width you have and there are divisions that will move to evenly fill the space. You lay it down and mark where ever those divisions are and it is easily
Georgene
Funny you should mention this today. I bought one probably 2 years ago. Yesterday I used it for the first time and it really came in handy to space small motifs in a long rectangle. I understand they are also used to space button holes. Kueser
I thought that was the trick. Just never heard of anyone using one, nor seeing it demonstrated for that. Nacy Zieman demonstrated use once on her show for button holes so I'll bet she carries them.
Joyce
Marilyn you are right Checkers don't have them any more. You can get them from United Notions for $9.98 if you have an account with them. You would have to buytwo..
Neher-in-law5
I had something similar with my cake decorating stuff. I think it is in the sewing room now, used it at least once for buttonhole marking.
