Butterfly Posted June 29, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 29, 2011 Hi Joan, I meant that I was practicing following a drawn line without a ruler. I have never drawn a design on a quilt before and then stitched on it. I always freehand with no marking. As far as the inner border goes, I drew that on too and used a ruler.
