Mandalei
It was very simpler ruler work, but I wanted to get the hang of it before I went on to a customer quilt. It's a very simple quilt for my daughter, who's 2, but I quilted it for me! You can't see it from the front, but there's a nearly 3 foot four-pointed medallion on the back (picture with the orange). I learned alot! The fill on the side is a combination of a couple different motifs. Thanks for looking!
Stagecl
Your quilt looks lovely. As for simple, sometimes the simpliest is the hardest! Great quilting!

CrazyAboutQuilting
Great job, Mandy! And isn't it great when we have a project of our own to learn how to do a new technique or use a new tool? It isn't quite so nerve-wracking as trying new things on a customer's quilt. Your different quilting choices really compliment the quilt top. Way to go! Mandalei
Thanks, everyone--I was pretty highstrung when I was working on it, but I was happy with how it turned out! I even liked the simple pattern I'd come up with once it was all quilted, ha!
