quiltjunkie
I just finished this for the LQS, she wanted it to hang in her booth at Road..nothing special about the quilting but I just used the LAVA thread for the first time and it's LAVALICIOUS!! Not one break and I was flying..I just happened to order 1 cone to try and the color happenned to be perfect, except you could have used just about anything except white thread on this quilt., so enjoy this fun, bright quilt. MarieBrewer
That looks like a quilt that would be fun to make as well as fun to LA. I haven\'t heard of Lava. Who makes that? I\'m a thread junky too. Not a good idea I hear because of the shelf life. Oh well, guess I\'ll just have to do more quilting.
Sheri Butler
Marie, Superior Threads makes that Lava thread. Hester.....I\'ll bet you had fun working with that bright beauty! I love a change of pace. To be able to quilt those "fun looking" quilts!
quiltjunkie
It was Superior Lava 203 Susnshine and I think I have a new favorite thread:D I loved working on that quilt because I love those colors...it\'s hard for me to get thru a beige/brown quilt..can\'t get those off the machine fast enough. Mary Beth
Great quilt...I like the bright colors...do you need to wear sunglasses all the time now I\'ve been wanting to order Lava, just haven\'t done it yet, need to revisit that idea. SonjaHammond
I love bright colors - wear them and use in quilts as often as possible. My stash has very few neutrals. (My husband calls them loud colors - he says they yell for attention). Great Job Hester. Your work is wonderful.
PattyJo
The quilt colors make you smile and the quilting looks great. I think I will have to get some of the Lava thread on my next order and give it a try.
