Butterfly
I think its www.metroemb.com Give that a try. Jessica
Butterfly
The price is out of this world good, and because of that I was skeptical. However, I have not had one break and it looks great. Jessica
KDquilter
wow - .75 per mini spool and only 2.25 for a big spool I'm all for trying it out.
cblevins
We love it too!!! I bought quite a bit, thinking I could use it on my embroidery machine if Millie didn't like it but it is great.
Sandra Darlington
I like it, too. I used Sew Fine in the bobbin, but will have to try Metro in the bobbin the next time.
quiltmonkey
Hi Jessica, glad to know you are having better luck with no thread breaking. Not sure what the thread breaking problem seems to be with the So Fine...glad metro is working for you. http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=21117&page=1#pid256769
witha'K'quilting
I too really like the metro thread. it looks great on a quilt and stitches out very nicely!
DoryJM
Jessica, did you buy the cones or the mini-cones? It looks interesting and certainly a good price!
witha'K'quilting
I bought the large cones...and got 25 of them for $2 each!
DoryJM
I am sorely tempted...I have been using strictly Superior and I can buy wholesale, but this is such a good deal! And what a variety of colors... Best of all, I can tell Dennis I'll share and let him use them on his embroidery machines knowing full well he'll forget I have them..... LinneaMarie
DORY!!! hehehehe sounds like a plan!!:P
DoryJM
Certainly eases my conscience. Dennis doesn't care what I order, but it feels so much less "me, me" if I say, "Honey, I'm ordering this thread that we can both use." Just because he never uses it isn't my fault;)
Hawaii
Can someone post a picture???? Does the thread have a sheen to it? Does it blend or stand out? Thanks - am on the fence about ordering.
DoryJM
Their website, while basic, has lots of pretty thread colors. It appears to have a sheen. www.metroemb.com

LinneaMarie
I am SUCH a sucker for thread...........oh, and all else quilty!!! I just ordered 34 cones, works out to $2.19/cone! To think I have about 100 spools of Isacord; and I think they were $5.95/spool! This is a great deal!:P
ffq-lar
My order--the 20 cones for $40--shipping was $11. Yes, it is shiny!
quiltlover03
I received the same order, 34 5000yrd cones for $115.00 Canadian and LOVE it, have used it on several Quilts now, washed one, and it is terrific. Thread breakage was due to a dull needle, once replaced, i had no more problems. Thanks for posting the link, this is a terrific forum, everyone shares so freely.
