quiltlover03 Posted August 15, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2010 My Customer just left and a happy Lady she is. She had tears in her eyes. It was a Quilt she made many years ago and had planned to hand quilt with lots of stitches, but alas, time and health didn't make it possible. She is "tickled pink" with the quilting, it was just perfect for her and exactly how she wanted it. The stars seem to just "float on the Quilt and I just love the "over/under" feathers in the sashing. Thank you Heidi....I hope you like what I did. It was a bit of a brain teaser for me, hands and brain do not cooperate sometimes, but I 'did it my way" and it worked just fine. Oh, and I also have DeLoa's Border Patrol book and use her sashing ideas quite a bit...but, usually get into a rut pretty quickly and use the same ideas over and over.
