quiltjunkie
I have found that when I get that sag in the backing those lovely little quilt clips from Dave saves me so much time as I just pull that excess forward and secure it on the bar with those clips and take off and roll and do again until the sag is gone...saves me so much time and no tucks in the back.. I love those clips..Thanks Grasshoper:P
Katydids
Batting cardboard tubes work great as free clips! I cut them in about 3-4" pieces and then slice them on one side. Work great as temporary clips.
anniemueller
I have Dave's clips too. I'll be trying those today. I tried the tuckers and I think I need to spend more time making them the right size. They made it look lumpy yesterday. The batting and top are loaded. Now I'm rethinking what to quilt. Should get started quilting today:-))
anniemueller
It's done;) I put the 11.5" Circle Lord feather wreaths inside the blocks and embellished. There are smaller wreaths, 3.75" in the sashing corners, with more feathers in the sashing. Bead board around the outer edge. It's a customer quilt, I think it's very pretty. Thanks for looking! I have the CL feather wreaths, too, but I never thought of adding the embellishments, or adding the smaller wreaths in between. Very creative.
