doodlebug
i thought quilting a checker board fabric that had 1/4" squares was bad...this structured little pin dot is making me dizzy!! i've tried everything (turning off the lightbar, turning off over head) to get a high contrast shadow but ,nope, no good... i think i shall charge hazard fee when i get something like this again

witha'K'quilting
You might have to quilt blind on this one...and go by feel as to where your stitches are.
Guest Linda S
Whoa! I'd have an epileptic seizure for sure (migraines are very much related!). This is the type of quilt you might want to do a pantograph on! Good luck!
njquiltergirl
Sunglasses? A glass of wine? Get 'er done fast and be done! Those prints are tpugh to work with, there is just no way around it. Rest your eyes when you can. Good luck!
Stagecl
Glad it is yours...LOL...cuz I would be seeing spots for many days after quilting it:o
Quilting Heidi
I already have a migraine today and looking at just your picture isn't sitting well so I'm glad it is on your frame and not mine. I was wondering if a black light would help.
lisae
Whew! Better you than me! I'm already dizzy but that would make me more so...if that's possible!
Lib
Oh my goodness me!! I think I would panto it and then I wouldn't have to look at it while stitching. Lib
Wendy-ON
I'd need to wear my fishing sunglasses too!
barbm
Shannon, I've been where you are! And it's no fun... I found a way to quilt even the busiest print. Check out the thread at http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=13386&page=1#pid136554 - partway down the first page is a photo of my solution. Hope you haven't gone blind yet! JustSewSimple
I'm not thinking a glass of wine would help. I am thinking to get snot-slinging-drunk and go for it. At least that way the dots would tend to move around .....it would add interest.;)
Laura Farnham
Hey Shannon~ Freehand it from the Back!!! I suffer Migraines all the time. And these type quilts are the worst. So I freehand them from the back. I turn off my Machine light and only use overheads. It relaxes my eyes a bit and makes it easier to get through the quilting. A Panto would be great too. Then you wouldn't have to look at the Dots. Laura
quiltmonkey
Boy that would drive me nutz. I would just close my eyes and quilt the thing.

Starrynight Quilter
I agree with all of the above especially Sylvia...To tell you the truth, I would probably up chuck trying to do this one. Glad it's you and not me.;);)
Suzie W.
I am inclined to go with Sylvia too. Or a panto--appreciate the problem--my solution--talk customer out of using "migraine" fabrics.
