anniemueller
I finally got one of my own quilts done. I took Tracey Browning's feathers class at HMQS last May. Put them in the border....I just love them! The body of the one block wonder has cc's, that are hard to see. It's a wool batting, so fine thread. Thanks for looking! anniemueller
here's a shot of the back. Maybe a little easier to see the cc's in the one block wonder blocks.

In the One Block Wonders Encore book, there are good directions for piecing blocks into the border. It is pieced, not applique. Page 68-69 if you have the book. A couple of important tips. You must arrange the blocks so you will be piecing strips vertically (or horizontally if you think that way, but not on the diagonal). And you must plan out the border before you start piecing the body. Ask for more info if this is still muddy. I teach this class, and highly recommend the book.;)
