Prairie Quilter
I haven't done much custom work since getting my Millie about 18 months ago - mostly pantographs and E2E. But I resolved to step out of my comfort zone in 2012 and try the occasional custom job (AND post pictures here, something just as intimidating as custom quilting!! LOL) So, I've done a few quilts that were not E2E, and here are some pictures of one I did today for a good friend/customer. Soooo many imperfections, but overall I'm happy with it. (And fortunately this friend encourages me to try new things on her quilts.) Thanks for looking! Mary

LisaC
Very Fine, Mary! I'm about where you are; I've had my Mille for the same time and am starting to branch out also. Feels good, too! I just don't have enough time to practice since I work full time. Again, very well done!

quiltmonkey
Wow! You just stepped out of the box to try new things? Well, I think not only did you step out of that box, you are standing on top of that box and declaring "I am Queen of Quilt and I fear Nothing!" dlnewell
Mary, you did a fantastic job on this quilt! I especially like your design in the green square border and your curl with the little whatever you call it on the end. May I copy your designs in some of my own quilting?
