RMMaynes
I was given this quilt to work on as my chapters opportunity quilt. Once again it is a quilt that would need to be customed and that is not my specialty. Though I have a computerized machine... so much of this quilt had to be done with out the computer. Well I finally finished the quilt and presented it to our group last night. I had told them that I would charge a small fee being that is OUR opportunity quilt. They sweetly doubled what I had said I would charge. I am a happy quilter. Rose in AZ In this picture it shows what I added to the applique quilt. LibbyG
Did you freehand the crosshatching? Does a computer do that around applique? I love the way you traveled with the crosshatching. That's a neat way not to have thread build up. This quilt is stunning.

RMMaynes
To answer LibbyG... O yes that is the computer. I have to draw around the the applique and show the computer where not to stitch. The part that was allllll free hand was all the meandering in the 12inch borders.
