srichardson
What a great site. I checked the thread storage link and she has so much thread I think she may need a ten step programme! I love her library card file filled with thread. I just found a wonderful tip on her blog for reading the needle size on dsm needles. She uses her cellphone to zoom in on the engraving on the needle. Why didn't I think of that. I haven't been able to read those numbers for years.

Sheri Butler
I too use a hospital bed tray at my longarm machine. That was actually funny to see someone else doing the same thing as I did with it!
RitaR
My quilt room is so small I don't need an extra tray, since 3 surfaces are within hand reach, and I tend to put most of the things I use in the same place on one spot or antoher. Second, and most Cost Effective, is in her Mini bolts, she uses comic book dividers. We go to the Dollar Tree and buy their foam core poster board, and cut it to the sizes we want. An exacto knife, or an old roller cutter blade, will cut right through it, and best of all it doesn't shed any fibres from the filling. So for $1.00, we have 7 or 8 boards about 12" by 8-9" . Quite inexpensive.
Darlene Epp
We were just in the process of getting rid of our son's old hospital bed when I saw this website. Hubby went over and grabbed the tray table. It now holds my keyboard and mouse by the machine for my CompuQuilter at JUST the right height! Happy, happy! calicokat
Wow, she's got a lot of great ideas!! I loved the wall mount hanger system for the rulers and I think I'll adapt it for my stencils too! I'll have to keep my eyes open for a hospital table -- that's a really cool idea
