dtreusch
Nothing fancy here. This quilt has very pretty colors and includes my faves of purple and green. I like how the center star came out, so thought I would share. Nothing is computerized. It's all freehand.

IBQLTN2
tonight must the the night for all the fancy quilts to come out. looks like everyone must have had a very productive weekend. all of these quilts are amazing. Debbi, you have such great dimension in the quilting is this a wool batting like the last one you posted. If so I think I will order a bunch of them I love the way the quilting pops with this batting. You did a great job, you dont even need a computer your feathers look as good or better than if they were done by a computer.
Sandra Darlington
Beautiful colors, gorgeous feathers, and perfect cross hatching! You did a great job on this quilt.
kennan100
Love it Debbi! I always say my favorite color is red, but I realized recently that I really like greens , too. You can put almost any color with a green and it looks great. It's as good a neutral as black I think. Your quilting and design is always beautiful! Sheri Butler
Eeeeeeew Debbi, I LOVE the quilting you did in the burgundy colored sashing. Where did you get that design? The whole quilt is awsome! You sure did a wonderful job all over that quilt!

dtreusch
Thanks all. The batting is Hobbs 80/20. If you look closely at the printed fabric behind the crosshatching, it has purple dragonflies. Very cool fabric. Anything purple and green is on my list of favorites. I love purple!! Sheri - The sashing is kind of a take off from one that Deloa and Jessica do. I didn't want to backtrack across the top of the feathers, so I reversed the swirl and eched the bottom of the feathers. It's become my favorite sashing. Fun and easy to do and looks so elegant. See ya Saturday. Hopefully MB too!!

witha'K'quilting
Beautiful. What a pretty quilt. Your crosshatching is very nice, the swirl feather thing in the sashing, and those feathers are perfect. WOW. What a great quilt. Can you post a drawing of your sashing design? I can't quite follow it looking at it on the quilt. Thanks, it is very nice.

dtreusch
Hi Kristina. Here's the steps to make the sashing. I quilt much better than I draw!! It's really pretty easy once you get the steps down and get into a rhythm. Hope it helps.
