JustSewSimple
I found this extremely well pieced quilt top on ebay for only $29. I wanted to quilt it out as a gift and I could use it to practice from the front. Well, there are more goofs in this quilt than I am willing to count. The only thing I can say good about it is that it is finished. Hope the person who gets it doesn't take the time to count all the mistakes!!! JustSewSimple
Last pic. Can you tell there is a small butterfly in each small square? That was the only thing that went well.
Primitive1
Sylvia, I don't think it looks like a mess and you did a good job on it. Those practice quilts are good learning tools!
Helen G
Sylvia don't sell yourself short-- that quilt looks lovely......your feathers are super and your cc's are looking good. Can't see the butterfly too well, but you know how it is with printed fabrics. Keep on keeping on!
JustSewSimple
Thanks for your support. I am going with the moving train theory. But I know there are 100s of mistakes and I hate that. Glad the camera didn't pick them up very well.
quiltlover03
Sylvia this is beautiful! Nothing wrong that I can see, we are our own worst critics ya know!
Bonnie
Your being to hard on yourself....nothing wrong that I can see from those two pic's. Besides we are the only one who really knows where the goofs are unless she gets down on all fours and put her nose to the threads...
cmoore1223
Stop being so hard on yourself. Unless the person you are giving it to is a quilter, they never know there are any mistakes. It looks beautiful to me and I'd sure love it if someone thought enough of me to make me a quilt.

Sparkle
Hi Sylvia, It looks pretty nice to me! We are our own worst critics it seems. I'm sure whoever you gift this quilt to will love it! Sometimes I buy tops on eBay to. They are fun to quilt. Especially if I need a donation quilt ---quick! Quilting Heidi
Sylvia stop beating yourself up! You did a terrific job. I can tell you that there have been times when I do quilts and wonder what the heck I was thinking and then the person that gets them just loves it! We are always so hard on ourselves. I'm sure nobody else would pick it apart like you are and I'm also sure that the person that gets it will appreciate all the time and effort that you put into it! Angie UK
Wow, it looks brilliant, I'm finding it hard at the moment to imagine being able to quilt as good as that! One day....... Angie
Bonnie
I have a question....since you feel this is messed up...what did you do that you felt is wrong? Just curious as to why you feel its been buggered up. Is it the way you quilted it...crossed lines when you shouldn't have, the choice or quilting...what? As I said just curious as to why...personally I think it quilted nicely as I stated earlier.
kennan100
Hey Sylvis! Back awwaaaayyyy from the quilt! Now look again! I think it's beautiful and so will anyone who gets it! No one knows but us what it should be anyway, and if anyone ever says anything just look at them like they are stupic and say "it's supposed to do that". Now get your nose out of the quilt, stand up and pat yourself on the back!
